NOP on airtel connection does not work, as said by the staff itself.
They do not gaurantee that it will work, and “all” the sites will open
? So why do they provide the service, i keep wondering ?GPRS on airtel connection does work, but im surprised that in last
week since I started using the service, 3 days the server was down….
so will i be discounted in the billings ?

I was since one and half month running from pillar to post with the
BSNL authorities and the call centre to get the settings for GPRS
service on my motorola l6. There was a constant answer that u call
24365 (the help line), and they were just answering that you will get
an sms… I did get an sms, but that was not working, in fact i got 3
sms’es.
After, long battle, yesterday i got the settings and they are as follows:
Name: whatever you wish
Homepage: http://www.google.com
Proxy: 9201
Service Type: HTTP
Speed: 14400
Line Type: ISDN
GPRS APN: gprswest.cellone.in
Leave the rest of the fields to blank or whatever the default value
is. And your gprs/wap settings is ready.
Enjoy surfing
